How to grow vegetables

Food!! That's where it begins. Most people don't give their vegetables enough Food. Fruiting vegetables are like teenagers.....they really go through it.

But what is equally important is the food itself, how the food is delivered, and the quality of the rootzone. A poor quality rootzone will negate everything else.

Our Urban Farm GroSystems provide optimized growing conditions for low-maintenance, hi-yield vegetable gardening. Professional greenhouse technology for your porch, patio, deck, rooftop, balcony, greenhouse, or entire garden replacement.

We are asked all the time "how to grow vegetables" successfully, without the back-breaking dirt work. There are lots of frustrated gardeners who aren't getting the results they dream of for the work they've put in. There are even more people who want to know how to grow vegetables in dwellings that don't accommodate gardening, ie; apartments, condos, townhouses, urban situations, small backyards. And there are a ton of people who still pine away for homegrown vegetables, have the space, but don't have the energy or time to engage in so much labor.

The poorest results we have seen are with hand-watered container gardens. These are well-meaning attempts to maximize small-space vegetable production. However, due to poor potting soil, compaction, exhausted nutrients, salt build-up, and inconsistent watering, the results are frequently disappointing. Done properly, container gardening can produce astounding yields of nearly any vegetable in small spaces:

-if you don't get at least 25 tomatoes from one planter something is wrong;

-if you don't get at least 20 bell peppers from one planter, something is wrong;

-if you don't get at least 50 eggplant (Ichiban variety)* from one planter.....you're missing out.

The list goes on. The exclusive, Patent-pending Urban Farm solves each of these container gardening problems and will produce yields of gourmet vegetables like you've never seen before.

Growing fresh vegetables is one of the most rewarding things people can do. At HydroSystems we are committed to helping people grow outstanding vegetables in small spaces with minimal effort.

We want our customers to achieve the same results we do. The Urban Farm, coupled with our proprietary Urban Farm Fertilizers, allows the necessary consistency and reliability to produce heavy yields of gourmet vegetables every time.

Choose your model for the space you have, whether that's a balcony, patio, deck, atrium, greenhouse, growroom, or your former garden area. Assemble, plug-in power and water, mix up some nutrient, and watch them go. Your main effort after that will be managing the jungle growth.
