Description

Ferns can be tricky, & planting them in typical potting soil can add to the problem. Our Fern/Terrarium Soil blend nurtures the plants with moisture retentive Coco Coir, provides nutrients with Organic Worm Castings, & provides excellent texture & drainage with Coarse Sand & crushed Pumice Stone. Our soil currently comes in three sizes: (.5QT) – will fill one 4 pot (1QT) – will fill two 4 pots (2QT) – will fill one 6″ pot or 4 4″ pots We DO NOT use Perlite or Peat moss! They are extremely harmful to the environment. We use two natural 100% renewable resources instead Coco Coir aka Coconut Fiber, & crushed Pumice Stone for aeration & drainage. Okay, now let’s break down the ingredients & why they will make your plants happy! Coco Coir – Humboldt, CA Unlike peat moss coco coir is a 100% renewable resource! On top of being eco-friendly, this product is one of the best ingredients out there for planting! Coco Coir provides your plants with excellent water retention, great aeration/drainage properties, has a neutral pH, & it’s even pest resistant! Our coco coir is sourced from local businesses! Pumice Stone – California Pumice is our eco-friendly (and superior in quality) substitute for Perlite! Pumice is an all natural, unprocessed organic product! Pumice stone offers the best drainage, has a neutral pH, reduces water runoff, & absorbs excess water to avoid root-rot & other issues that come with over-watering! The porous surface of the pumice rocks also absorbs vital nutrients which can help regulate your fertilizer feedings! Our pumice stone is sourced from local small businesses & is a product of the USA!” The Fern Blend/Terrarium Mix 100% Sustainable Hand-Mixed Soil For Ferns & Terrarium Plants
